Stock Futures Tick Higher After April Swoon

In the U.S., S&P 500 futures gained 0.7% and futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average strengthened 0.7%, indicating May buying and selling would open with good points after sharp slides for main indexes final month.

Europe shares fell Monday. The Stoxx Europe 600 declined 0.8% in morning commerce dragged down by declines in industrials and shopper staples sectors.
